Forums: Get involved in forums that are related to the chosen subject of your website or blog and add a link to your site in your signature. Not only does this help create links back to your site but you will soon become recognised within your chosen field and people will build their trust in you.

Directories: There are hundreds of free directory sites on the internet both for your websites and your blog’s rss feed, make sure you submit your urls (or feed) to them. In fact there are even software programs out there that will help you to do it.

Word Of Mouth:

Spread the word offline about your site, add your url to your business card etc.

Articles: Write an article relating to the topic of your site and submit it to the free article sites and add the link to your site in
